Born and raised in Connecticut, I have traveled the world and have lived abroad. My years in Europe and Asia afforded me the unique opportunity to understand other cultures and appreciate their treasures. Nonetheless, the northwest hills of our beautiful state beckoned me to return and this is where I settled with my family.

Here, I have put down roots in the community. I serve on the Board of Directors at Seven Angels whose mission is to support professional regional theater. I co-chair the Women's Initiative Fund of the Connecticut Community Foundation which is a permanent source of support for programs helping area women and children lead healthier, stronger lives. I am a long time member and sustainer of the Junior League of Women. Additionally, each year I host a book signing for a local Connecticut author.
